Tommy and Lauren got married at The Loft at Walnut Hill in Bedford, IN! The weather was perfect and this venue is GORGEOUS, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. There are so many great photo spots at this venue that it was easy taking photos of them and their friends as they celebrated their wedding.
Proposal & Engagement Photos
Jackson Creek Trail
Bloomington, IN
Tommy and Lauren love going for walks on the many trails in Bloomington, stopping along the way to take pictures with the wildflowers. This lent itself to the perfectly simple proposal Tommy came up with: he would invite Lauren to go for a walk, have her turn around to take a picture, then drop to one knee. All he needed was a local photographer to capture it, so he found us online and filled out our contact form.
I love doing engagement shoots but I especially love photographing proposals. Getting to be there for such a big and intimate moment is a huge honor, and I also love the opportunity to practice my stealth abilities avoiding detection before the question is asked.
Overall, it was a beautiful evening on one of the many trails that Bloomington has to offer, surrounded by a field of wildflowers. The perfect setting for a summer engagement.
