White River State Park

Downtown Indianapolis

In September we met up with Shawn and Gabrielle for their engagement session in downtown Indy! We spent two hours exploring the White River State Park and a couple other spots downtown and I’m so happy with how their photos turned out! They’re currently slated to be our first wedding of 2025 and we can’t wait to join them at the Sycamore at Mallow Run for what’s sure to be a beautiful day. :)

In order to cover so much ground we did an extended photoshoot which also allowed plenty of time for an outfit change. This is one of our favorite spots in Indianapolis and there are so many different backdrops you get all within a short distance of each other! We picked a Sunday afternoon so the park wasn’t too crowded, although it’s usually not bad unless there’s a special event going on. If you enjoy nature or urban vibes then this is the perfect spot for a photoshoot!
